In Rolf Krieger's hands, abstract art is created from light and movement. This means that the camera is mounted on a tripod, the abstract works are created by opening the camera aperture for a long exposure of several seconds, and the artist moves the lighting tools in front of the camera. The light pulsates in different colors; he uses the latest LED technology for his lighting tools. The technique of light painting requires darkness during the shoot; the works are created in the studio or at night in nature. During light painting, the artist cannot see, only sense how his work is being created and whether he will be happy with the result. This means that the compositions cannot be repeated, which means that the shot can only be taken in this form once.
Light paintings are works of art made of shapes and light. Krieger creates a shimmering world of colors and luminous lines. A mesmerizing image that transcends reality.
The work is limited to two editions and hand-signed by the artist. A certificate of authenticity is included.
