Rolf Krieger transports viewers into abstract art made of structures and light; his sculptures capture the abstraction of the diversity of the human body. His paintings are compositions of photographs that he transforms into new realities using digital tools. He seeks movement in images and enhances it with blurs and lines of light. He also creates abstract works that are detached from the photograph and offer a glimpse into the new abstraction of digital technology. The longer the gaze rests on the artwork, the more spectacular and breathlessly calm his works appear. In atmospheric images, the artist conveys the emotional impact of the scenery directly to the viewer, integrating landscapes and architecture into unique patterns of lines, shapes, and colors. In his sculptures made of various materials, the artist abstracts and transfers forms of human existence into new forms made of wire and ceramic. His works appear as if they originate from a parallel world, yet at the same time, their timeless elegance makes them seem all too familiar. But his artworks are more than that; they possess a reactive quality that elevates them above the status of real things.

Rolf Krieger lives and works in Hamburg and is characterized by his great autodidactic power and diversity. His works are sold nationally and internationally, and he has clients in Europe, Asia, the USA, Australia, and New Zealand. He has recently begun working with NFT art (non-fungible art), which he offers on the platform "Opensea.io" under the label Art-Direct.
