About the artist:

Aileen Clausager is a creative northerner with 50% Danish and 50% German Hamburg heritage. This young, self-taught artist had her first art exhibition at the age of 19. She enjoys exploring the human body and portraiture, and is fascinated by the fusion of painting with naturalistic elements and abstraction. She uses bold and contrasting colors as a key design element. This experimental approach informs her large-format works. Aileen is currently studying communication design at the University of Applied Sciences Europe in Hamburg.
